    2. Soak the dal and again heat ithe cooker. After that add the dal and turmeric and saute it for a minute. Then mix it and pour warm water around double of dals. And pressure cook it for 3 whistles. Then open it and add some more warm water if it becomes thick. Add chopped And then mash it with the help of dal masher add salt and boil it for more 2-3 mins.
    3. Heat a tempering pan on medium flame with oil is heated add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. (keep the flame low) add curry leaves and green chilli the tempering pan and immediately putting into the dal, cover it for a min then mix it.dal is ready.

    After that add, salt, red chili powder, green chili, turmeric, garlic, coriander powder and cumin powder. Skim the foam off the top if you want. In a heavy-bottom pan, get the oil hot enough over medium-high heat so that it just barely shimmers and flows as quickly as water. Dal Chawal is an all time comfort food all over India.
